The function of the Risk Management Department contributes to the safety and soundness of the company, through risk review and assessment, insurance procurement and administration, and licensing and compliance administration.
The Risk Management Department also acts as the company's internal audit function.
WHO YOU AREYou will be responsible for gathering, input and maintenance of all insurance certificates for Hendricks Commercial Properties and its affiliated companies and Geronimo Hospitality and its affiliated companies.
WHAT YOU WILL DO Data Entry of all Company, Tenant, Construction Contractors and Vendor insurance policy information into the Company Database Secure valid certificates for all Tenant, Construction Contractors and Vendors Responsible for maintenance and upkeep of outstanding certificate requests Procurement of all necessary Company certificates as it pertains to sales, purchases, special events, etc.
Works with other internal company departments on training to improve certificate collection Verifies accuracy and completeness of insurance certificates All other duties as assigned WHAT WE NEED (MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS) High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent skills Document review experience in insurance related policies/certificates and related forms Ability to handle a fast paced, deadline driven environment Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments while delivering consistent, quality work product to property managers, brokers, attorneys and clients High level of attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work with little supervision and to seek help when needed Ability to build strong internal and external relationships Strong analytical and communication skills Ability to think independently while working within a group Advanced level of proficiency in Word, Outlook, and Excel WHAT WE DESIRE (PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS)Commercial real estate or insurance experiencePHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDSReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
